Voxy
Documentation
How to install, configure and use Voxy, the dictation app that runs entirely on your own computer.
Voxy turns speech into text anywhere on your computer. Hold one key, say your sentence, let go, and the words appear where your cursor already was.
Everything runs on your own machine. There is no account, no cloud service and no telemetry. These pages cover every screen and every setting in the app.
Voxy runs on macOS and Windows. Where the two differ — the default key, where files are kept, which permissions are needed — the pages say so.
Note Voxy for Windows is not out yet. This page describes both platforms so it is right the day it lands.
New here? Start with Install Voxy, then Your first dictation. Together they take about five minutes.
